The La Dolce Italia Billy Cart Grand Prix. is an exciting new event at the Lygon Street Festival, Sunday 28 February.

Teams of 7, with one driver and six pushers, will race their home made billy carts around a 250 metre track up and down Lygon Street. There are two categories, Open and Junior each with specific regulations and three events - the Lygon One lap dash, the Grandprix and the best Italian themed Billy Cart and team. Prizes include grandstand tickets at this year’s Australian Grand Prix. The National Breast Cancer Foundation will receive proceeds from entries.
